is a new section which we have just started. We will mention
here all those persons whose scientific role and commitment
have helped to enhance and develop ISNV activities. We
are very grateful for their help and therefore we have
decided to grant them the title of Friends of ISNV.
First
of all we would like to mention Professor L. P. Rowland,
who has been Chair of the Neurological Institute of
New York and President of the American Academy of Neurology.
His
reseach and very important work has enhanced and developed
the Neurological Sciences, in particular in the field
of Neuromuscular disorders.
From
1990 to 2002 he chaired the section of Neuromuscular
Diseases of the ISNV.
We would also like to mention here and thank for their
